I decided to start this blog to give people an insight into what it’s like to be a B&B socialiser for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
My husband and I have volunteered for the charity for around 5 years and over this time have welcomed many Hearing Dogs into our home. Whether it be for a night or a few months, we love welcoming each pup into our home and trying to make their stay as fun and stress free as possible.
My plan is to provide regular updates on whichever pup is staying in our ‘Hearing Dog Hotel’ and hopefully provide an insight into what it’s like to look after a Hearing Dog in training and also help to raise awareness of this wonderful charity.

So Clay has officially been at big school for 2 whole months now!
He’s doing really well with his Soundwork training and has just started learning how to alert his trainer to the doorbell – such a clever pup! Clay LOVES going to school and bounces in each morning with tonnes of enthusiasm!
